Personality Test

  • Mood: Sleepy

What is your personality type?

Your personality type is INFJ

Strong drive and enjoyment to help others. Complex personality. 1% of the total population. These are serious students and workers who really want to contribute. They are private and easily hurt. They make good spouses, but tend to be physically reserved. People often think they are psychic. They make good therapists, general practitioners, ministers, and so on.

The agreeable nature and quiet personality of INFJs makes them particularly vulnerable to hurt feelings. Distress within close relationships can shatter the INFJ. Like all NFs under stress, INFJs feel fragmented and lost — as if they are acting out a part rather than simply being themselves. This disassociation can be related to physical symptoms for the INFJ, whether real or imagined. Feeling split off from their physical natures, INFJs may become virtually immobilized by repressed feelings.

Although INFJs may feel like remaining still and stationary until the chaos and confusion of a stressful situation dissipates, it would be best for them to actively sort out their needs from others. Being excessively cooperative and agreeable, the INFJ has a tendency to adopt values and beliefs of others as their own. When external conflicts grow, so does the INFJ's sense of personal disharmony. Disassociating themselves from others takes a great deal of effort for the INFJ.

Careers

This lists represent careers and jobs people of your type tend to enjoy doing. The job requirements are similar to the personality tendencies of your personality type. It is important to remember that this is not a list of all the jobs possible. And it is very important to remember that people can, and frequently do, fill jobs that are dissimilar to their personality... this happens all the time...and sometimes works out quite well.

1 month to ORD

  • Mood: Happy

Too many things to do. Too little time.

First of all, 1 more month to ORD lo! This coming Friday I will clear my FFI ORD Dental and the next week I will clear my FFI ORD Medical. My understudy has came and now I am slowly passing my jobs to him. He is a nice worker. The feeling of going to ORD feel just so good! Alot of people ask me what I am going to do after ORD. I always told them I am doing my Bachelors already and going to graduate next year in Q4. Most of them are stunned and feels happy for me. Well I guess not a lot of people will expect a NSF able to study and serve NS at the same time. I have had a great time in my NS. Being able to be a medical specialist, had my fair share in Navy, 6 SIR and BCTC lastly. All my Senior Medics took good care of me and I was able to perform more then their expectation. Thats why for my ORD testimonial, I am getting testmonials even from my previous Senior Medics from Navy and 6 SIR. 1 more month to go and that marks the point that changes from "boy to man" in Singapore.

Talking about studies, I am surprised I top my class on my results last semester. The results are not out yet. But my lecturer was telling us how disappointed he is with our class results expect Wong (thats how my lect call me). And he even stressed that I top the class. Of course I am very happy. At least I know I am doing well and doing my best. To achieve my goals and not waste the money and effort that has been pouring in ever since this course started. My goals and desires still exists. Now my results are in the 2nd Upper Class Honours region. I am happy with it and wish to maintain it. If possible, I wish to hit 1st Class Honours and further my studies as a PhD candidate. All this sounds like big words and hard to achieve things. But I am sure with my determination, I want to pull something out of it. Just need to put in more and more efforts into it.

Lately I have been seeing some of my friends getting married etc. I began wondering should I or not settle down. This question is easily answered last time with my ex-gf. But shit do happens and it brought me back to square one. Of course I do wish I can share my life with someone, look after and care for. But I do not know why everyone of them disappointed me. Not that I am asking too much, or demanding. I tried to find out where my flaws lies in etc. I guess if is meant to be, it will be. No one is wrong in a relationship and no one is correct. I guess is how well both of them sync with each other in a harmonious way. Yes, I am a Libra. I like harmony and peace. Ever since my last gf, I gave up quite a considerable amount of thinking, hopes for this field of my life. Basically I wish to complete my studies, get a stable job before venturing into this field again. In the end, I have to be a capable man to be able to handle much more responsibilities. Well things are are to say. If it comes, I will just accept it. :]

Thinkings

  • Mood: Thinking...

Finally got to try my Wibrain on the move today. The keyboard is nice but I guess it will take me quite a bit to get used to it. Using this UMPC is fun and good. It is not that straining on the eye. But when I paired it with my Bluetooth keyboard, I hate to admit I feel it straining to see and use it in replacement of a laptop or desktop. Nonetheless, it served well as a UMPC and upgraded my status as a mobile road warrior.

Have been thinking a lot lately about things that is going to happen after I ORD. Should I start my career as a mechanical engineer and study at the same time? From live experience from my classmates, it seems that it is really hard to juggle work and study at the same time. Take for example that you work from 8 to 5 daily and you still have to drag your weary body to school. Fatigue will kick in, cannot concentrate on class and most of the time you do not understand what your lecturer is talking about due to the fact you cannot even concentrate properly. Not forgetting in a working year you have only 14 days of leaves to cater for 3 semestral examination and Melbourne trip. Not forgetting you have not set aside some for emergency. Totally stranded. With so many negative factors and cons, I decided to forgo it. Besides it is always better to enter the workforce with a degree. High startup pay and better chance of promoting fast compared to entering with just a diploma and later telling them you got a degree.
Upon careful consideration, given the fact that I just have around 1 year 3 months to graduate, I decided to try and do what I wanted to do but have no chance of doing it before and at the same time, brush up some skills I do for leisure like piano and singing.

The job and passion I wanted to do is being a photographer. Commercial photographer. I have officially joined PhotoConnection as a professional photographer. Being a photographer has a lot of advantages. You got to meet different clients and people and improve your PR. Time is very flexible and there is no limitation on leaves etc as you are the one controlling. Photography is an art and it suits me and is my cup of tea. I will be getting my portfolio very soon and I will link you guys to my company website for viewing. Talking about photography, I have not done much change to my pbase website. I think I really have to find one fine day and revamp it nicely.
On a side note, I planned not to take any piano lessons no more. Reason? Basically I am doing well learning myself and feeling the satisfaction that I can achieve without guidance. I even have a few you tubers that are interested in my pieces and can’t wait for my next debut. I currently am working on Kevin Kern’s Through the Arbor. One page completed out of 5 pages. Hope to complete it within 2 months. After this piece, I will attempt Evanescence’s Lithium by playing piano and singing. Guess most of you have never heard me sing before. I have been a bathroom singer since sometime back. Nonetheless, it is still quite some time away. When the time comes, you can see and judge for yourself. Hope you guys give me your upmost support. Will greatly appreciate every support you guys give.
Stay tuned!

Melbourne Trip Day 2 (Melbourne)

  • Mood: Tired

Today is Sunday. We have planned to go sight seeing for the whole day. Basically checking out the town central area.

You can customise your own car plate in Auss. Take for example this car. BEARS 2. Cool aint it? I heard from my friend that SG will be starting this in 2 years time. 2 years...

Tram 86. The only tram service from Bundoora to Melbourne City. The tram look like half MRT half train. The operator is TRAMS YARRA. Spelled backward is " SMART ARRAY" I realised it when looking at the sticker behind the window glass.

Inside the tram. Most of them are still using the paper like metacard. They still haven implement the tap and go service like our very own EzLink.

Two Aerosol Spray Abuser posed for me to take pictures of them. I was afraid in the beginning as I was holding my camera when they approached me. Luckily having some combat experience from TKD, I realised the area is too small for them to do anything to me and the tram is pretty crowed then. So I took 2 pictures of them. Lucky they are just friendlly and not trying anything funny. Come to think of it, they are photogenic.

Finally reached Melbourne city after 50 minutes of tram ride. Look at their graffiti! So much more standard and style compared to our Singapore's own$pay$ graffiti. Haha!

The area around the place we dropped. Myer is right infront of us! I will visit it later or during the last few days of my stay. Due to the tram services, there are alot of wires overhead. Something you will never see in SG. I think it is dangerous cause most are live wires. But anyway it is cool to experience such infrastructure. Thats all about travelling aint it? =]

Carriage service to bring you around the city. AU$30 per ride for around 20 mintues I think. Forgotten about the pricing. I notice the horses pee and shit over the street and no one cleans them up. Argh!

Stopped by this pizza shop. They are very friendly and introduced us to their local speciality. PIZZA. As I have just tighten my bracers 2 days ago, I ate very slowly. Chewing floods my eyes with tears. But overall it is nice to eat and the drink is nice too! We noticed that the eating habit here is totally fried stuff. Fast food, pizza, pasta and more fast food, pizza and pasta. o.O

More sightseeing

Went to one of the tourist attraction. St Paul's Cathedral.

St Paul's Cathedral is built on the site where the first public Christian services in Melbourne were led by Dr Alexander Thomson in 1836. Soon afterwards a small wooden chapel was built elsewhere, and the area became a corn market until 1848, when it was made available for the building of the bluestone St Paul's Parish Church. Consecrated in 1852, that was used until 1885, when it was demolished to make way for the present Cathedral. The decision to build on the site of the existing church was made because of its proximity to the railway and soon to be completed cable tramway service. The Swanston Street and Flinders Street corner remains one of Melbourne's busiest intersections today, ensuring the Cathedral a place at the heart of city life.

The Architectural style of the Cathedral is described as Gothic transitional, being partly Early English and partly Decorated. It was designed by the distinguished English architect William Butterfield, who was noted for his ecclesiastical work, and the foundation stone was laid in 1880. Butterfield steadfastly refused to visit Melbourne and the building program was beset with all the problems that arise from management by remote control. He resigned from the project briefly in 1882 and finally in 1884, and the building was completed under the supervision of Joseph Reed, who designed many of Melbourne's public buildings. Nonetheless, St Paul's remains Butterfield's final masterpiece.

On 22 January 1891 the Cathedral was consecrated, but it was not the building we see today. The erection of the spires did not begin until 1926, and then to the design of John Barr of Sydney rather than using the original design of an octagonal central tower and gable west end towers of Butterfield. In the 1960s there was extensive work carried out on the exterior, and in 1989 a major National Trust appeal to enable the restoration of the Cathedral's magnificent organ. It is acknowledged as the finest surviving work of T. C. Lewis, one of the greatest English organ builders of the second half of the nineteenth century.

St Paul's enjoys a long tradition of the musical excellence, and is one of the very few Anglican Cathedrals outside the British Isles to have a Choral Evensong on Sundays and most weeknights. Organ recitals are an integral part of Cathedral life, as are other music recitals, drama and art exhibitions.

The Cathedral also has one of the few peals of thirteen bells outside the British Isles, and they are a regular feature of Wednesday evening in Melbourne, when the bell ringers may be heard practising from 6.30pm to 9.00pm.

After much walking, we began to feel thirsty. Dropped by one of the shop and saw this water. Everyone rushed to buy this water? Why? Just another bloody water...

Went to Queen St to Queen Victoria's Market. Tons of things on sale there. So many! We only have an hour to spend there. Lucky my mum is not here. If not she will stay here for 5 hours! Seriously alot of things to see and girls will go gaga over this place cause the things are cheap and good. The strawberries are nice too. I wanted to buy back some to SG. Bur reckoned that they will not survive the trip.=

Went to the Melbourne Aquarium. Magnificant Place! Pictures do the talking!

http://www.melbourneaquarium.com.au

More sightseeing. Legs are breaking!

Settled our dinner at Shanghai Noodle House. Not the best but very very expensive. $9.50 for a plate of noodles. Heart faint* After our dinner it start to get dark (8.30pm) Went back to our motel and drop dead. So many places in a day! But it is good given the chance that we will not be able to walk like this for the next few days.
